The Krewe of Princess Ulele's community projects try to focus on
the preservation of the land, coastal shorelines and ancient Indian grounds within
Pinellas County.

On October 18,2008, Krewe members spent their Saturday morning picking up trash in and
around
Abercrombie Park in Jungle Prada as part of the City of St. Petersburg annual
Coastal Cleanup project.
The park and neighboring lands were once home to the Tocobaga
Indians and contain ancient tribal burial mounds.
